Hi!! Thanks for being here - I know that cleaning is
not an exciting topic 😂 buttttt it is
necessary.... you see, Greg and I share the cleaning - which basically means
that Greg does most of it because I tend to get easily distracted with fun
stuff! 😆
Here's the deal - we both have allergies and asthma so we
both need to be careful about what we use around the house. The majority of
cleaners on the store shelves have ingredients that cause and trigger health
issues. 😔
Don't let them fool you with the "natural" label
with that green leaf - flip that bottle over and read the tiny little words in
the ingredients list. Does it say the word fragrance? If it does then ditch it
- or plan to spend some more 💲 at the doctor and
the pharmacy.
Important- read the warning section - do you have to call
poison control if accidentally ingested? Not good. We should be able to
literally brush our teeth with our cleaner. 🌿 Yes - I am
serious.
ARE WE FINE?
Most people assume cleaning products on the grocery store
shelf have been tested and are safe for use, but unfortunately that is simply
not true...
Because of the Toxic Substance Control Act, companies did
not have to clear even a basic safety review before using a chemical in a
consumer product. The law has been slightly updated for newly created
chemicals, but the 80,000+ chemicals created in the last century are still
being sold in our stores 😔

DIY WOOD CLEANER:

make your own in like 2 seconds:
● DIY Glass Cleaner Recipe
grab a 16oz glass spray bottle and add:
1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
1 tsp. vinegar
5 drops Lemon
fill the rest with distilled water
● DIY Wood Furniture Cleaner
grab a 4oz glass spray bottle and add:
2oz white vinegar
2oz olive oil
5 drops Lemon
Clean your table, then spray your salad and enjoy! 😉
Start em young! 😂 My kids always had
a list of chores to do and even though they grumbled it taught them so much -
they are both super independent adults who know how to manage their time and
get stuff done. The only thing that I regret is not knowing any better when I
handed them the cleaning supplies 😞
I know that we talked about using glass spray bottles - here
is an alternative - Thieves Wipes. Our littles can feel like a huge helper and
we won't have to worry about them handling any harmful chemicals .... or

PILES OF LAUNDRY
Who here knows about Greg's laundry addiction? He does
laundry EVERY SINGLE DAY 😂😍 #thankyoubabyjesus
A big part of seasonal cleaning is washing all those winter
clothes and blankets before they go into storage, and washing the new clothes
that were bought for spring!
Thieves laundry soap can be used in all washers, including
high efficiency and its highly concentrated formula will handle approximately
64 loads with just 32 fl oz.
Thieves Laundry Soap is formulated without:
• SLS
• Dyes
• Petrochemicals
• Formaldehyde
• Phosphates
• Synthetic perfumes
• Optical brighteners- DID YOU KNOW that many detergents use optical
brighteners to make clothes appear brighter, which has nothing to do with
actually cleaning the clothes? YEP 😖 The clothes only
appear whiter and brighter because these additives reflect blue light, giving
the illusion that your clothes are less yellow. These optical brighteners
remain in your clothes and are rub against your skin. Not Good.

something needs an extra "boost" we will add a spoonful of epsom
salt, a spoonful of baking soda and a few drops of Lemon right to the washer.
Also, did you know that fabric softener and dryer sheets is
the #1 cause of indoor pollution? That “laundry smell” is actually volatile, carbon-based
chemicals that evaporate at room temperature and they are some of the most
toxic things we can have in our home.
🌿 Here's a Healthy
alternative to fabric softener and dryer sheets:
*** 100% wool dryer balls with a few drops of your favorite essential oil - Our
favorites are Purification, Lavender or Lemon - You can choose your favorite
scent and the dryer balls are reusable! Dryer balls fluff up your laundry,
prevent clothes from clumping, increase air circulation, and cut down the
amount of time it takes your clothes to dry; they can cut your drying time by
25%!
DISHES ALL DAY
Store bought dish soaps leave a chemical residue on our
dishes and pans that can be harmful to our health. I never thought about it
this way before - but do you really want to eat that cleaner?

family a favor and try it! This soap will effectively clean your dishes without
harsh chemicals, dyes, or synthetics. Jade Lemon, Bergamot, and Thieves
